Home Build Year: 1956Description Of Work: Joe and his company replaced my entire roof and repaired only the wood that needed replacing.  He did not say that the entire
wood under the shingles needed to be replaced as many companies do.  Since I  was 150 miles away when work was going on Joe
took pictures of the job as it progressed and e-mailed them to me so I could see the pieces of wood that were replaced.  That extra
step made me feel like I was right there.  They did a marvelous job repairing and shingling my roof. The removal and clean up was
very well done.  I was very happy with my experience with his company.    As luck would have it several months later a large limb of
a tree broke and went straight through my new roof.  I called Joe again and had him come out and repair the damage, needless to
say his work was great.  I could not tell where the damage had been.  My roof looked like new again. Member Comments: Over all my experience with this company was positive.  Repairs went quickly.  Joe the owner was very easy to talk to.  He answered all
my questions and being a woman did not make me feel like I didn't know anything.   Being that we conversed over a hundred miles some of the time he would contact me as quickly as possible.  I liked doing business with him and his company.

Description Of Work: Precision Building & Remodeling replaced the roofs on our home, garage, and shed.  They also replaced the beam and posts on our carport and aluminum sided the underside of the carport. 
Their estimate was detailed and broken out for each roof and the carport repair so we could select the specific work we wanted done.
The estimate included a projected start and end date as well as all warranty information, bonding license, builder's license, and other technical and legal details.
The work was performed as scheduled and very professionally.  The workers cleaned up each evening and left the property neat.
Questions were answered politely and professionally.  All work was done as promised and we are very pleased with the results.

Member Comments: I contacted Joe to give me an estimate on all the items above.  He came out and sent me a detailed estimate with options based on what decisions I needed to make.  He gave me samples of siding, stone and shakes to help me make color decisions and get more accurate estimates.  Once work started he kept his team on it until the end.  He also made sure I was 100% satisfied.  We had an issue with the stone that was to go on the house.  It just didn't contain the same colors that was in the sample.  I called him as the stone was going up that it just wasn't right.  He made a decision to take the stone down until we could see what was going on.  He arranged to have more stone delivered that would better match what it should have looked like.  He didn't charge me any extra and didn't make me feel like I was being difficult.  He also went above and beyond the call of duty.  For example I was giving away some cabinets to a couple where they just have to remove them from the walls and haul them away.  When the couple showed up they didn't have the proper tools.  It just happened that Joe was scheduled to work that day.  We were really struggling to get the last cabinet down and Joe asked some of his crew to help us get it down.  He certainly didn't have to do that but I really appreciated his help.  He also hauled away a lot of garbage that I had cleaned out of my garage.  He just added it to his pile that he was hauling away.  He always left the house very neat.  Joe and his crew were a pleasure to work with and I would definitely call them again.

They were here for approximately 2 months -- completely resided our entire home, reroofed and insulated troubled areas, and turned our unused attic space into a great living area. All work was done to our complete satisfaction and more. His pricing was more than fair - passed along his savings/discounts on materials to us. He had a lot of great ideas for us, when we didn't quite know which way to go. He was professional, easy to work with, and we were/are very happy with the quality of his workmanship.  We would definitely use his company again. And we have referred him to our friends and neighbors, who are also very pleased with his work.

Description Of Work: The Cottage had pipes freeze & break with extensive flooding. Rebuilt the cottage after mitigation of flooding putting an 8' x 30' addition with new bedroom, Kitchen & Utility rm. Straightening the walls as this was a non Typical A frame. Completely changed the look of our cottage and making it so one day we can retire there.

Member Comments: Precision Building & Remodeling Owner Joe Smith handled the mitigation ensuring the cottage was dried out and free of mold, working with the insurance company and myself.  He sub contracted the plumbing & heating ( Longmire Plumbing Heating & Cooling) & elec (Excellent work by them as well). They gave a very fair bid on the 8' x 30' addition which allowed a new Kitchen to be put in with new cabinets & sink. Added a extra bedroom, new staircase, completely redoing the bathroom and also adding a utility rm. The job was done in a timely fashion with the owner Joe Smith on the job daily as part of his crew. Joe is a young man who takes great pride in the workmanship, learning on the job with his father who was in the business for over 30 yrs. He gave advise when asked, offered suggestions and even made a few outstanding & excellent decisions that couldn't wait when I was tied up in meetings and couldn't be contacted. The workmanship by Joe & his crew was top notch quality as was the communication. They didn't get upset when extras were added like deciding late on new & larger windows throughout and deciding on Fiber cement siding instead of the planned vinyl, offering suggestions when we decided to do this. One of the great things was Joe had a link set up so he could take pictures & share the every day progress on the job via internet. With our family living downstate we were able to watch the cottage being rebuilt day by day. That was amazing!
